Korean Lash Lift / aka K-Lift

With over 11 years of experience in the lash and brow industry, and more than 2 years dedicated to perfecting the authentic Korean Lash Lift technique after training with top Korean educators, founder Cecilia is an expert you can trust.

The Korean Lash Lift is an advanced lifting technique that prioritizes lash health and customization, primarily by using gentler formulas which results in a softer, healthier, and more natural-looking curl compared to traditional lash lifts.

The Korean Lash Lift is an evolution of the traditional method, moving beyond simply curling lashes to prioritizing their long-term health and aesthetics. While both aim for a lifted look, the Korean method's use of gentler chemistry and a more meticulous, adhesive-free technique reduces the risk of over-processing and ensures a cleaner, healthier, and more consistent result. It's a more advanced, health-conscious approach that offers superior, longer-lasting results without compromising the integrity of your natural lashes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Services FAQ

What is a Korean Lash Lift?

A Korean Lash Lift is an advanced technique developed in South Korea that prioritizes precision, lash health, and customizable curl. Instead of relying on strong solutions and standard rods, it uses specialized shields, refined formulas, and meticulous placement to create lifted, elongated lashes that look naturally defined rather than overly curled. Clients love it for its softer grow-out, longer-lasting structure, and refined, luxury finish tailored to their eye shape.

What's the difference between a traditional lash lift and a Korean lash lift?

A traditional lash lift creates a uniform curl, often with a sharp bend at the base. The Korean lash lift technique uses gentler processing and precise shield placement to create a natural, seamless lift from root to tip, with results tailored to your unique eye shape. The focus is on lash health and a soft, elegant curl rather than a dramatic bend.

Will a lash lift make my lashes fall out?

No. A lash lift will never cause lashes to fall from the root. If you notice a lash shedding, that's your natural growth cycle doing what it always does, lift or no lift. You lose and regrow lashes constantly, you just tend to notice it more when you're paying attention to them.

Is a lash lift damaging to my natural lashes?

No, when done correctly. At each visit I analyze your natural lashes to choose the right processing time and curl shape, and your lashes are hydrated four times during the service. Because this is a chemical process, aftercare matters: condition daily, ideally with a keratin conditioning treatment (available for purchase), and avoid excessive rubbing to prevent breakage.

I'm allergic to lash extension glue. Will lash lift glue cause a reaction?

No, the two are completely different. Lash lift adhesive is gentle and water soluble, never touches your skin, and is removed at the end of your service. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test 24 hours before your appointment.

My previous lash lift elsewhere barely made a difference. Why?

Under-processing produces minimal results. I analyze your lashes at every appointment and select the correct chemistry for your desired outcome, always with realistic expectations based on your natural lashes. I also offer a 1 week guarantee. See Terms & Conditions for details.

How do I protect my lash lift?

Be gentle with your lashes. Over-rubbing your eyes, using a mechanical lash curler, or wearing waterproof mascara can all cause breakage at the tips of the lashes. Skip the curler entirely, your lift has that covered, and choose a tubing mascara if you wear one.

How do I prep for my appointment? What about aftercare?

Does a lash lift sting, burn, or hurt?

I'm meticulous with application to ensure nothing touches your eyes or skin. Come ready to relax, as chatting makes the eyes flutter and can let chemicals seep in. Some clients are sensitive to the minor fumes, which can sting slightly, but I have ways to diffuse this. Your eye safety and lash health are always my priority.

How long will my lash lift last?

Your lash lift lasts as long as your natural lash growth cycle. For most clients, that's about 6 weeks, though it can range anywhere from 4 to 10 weeks depending on how quickly your lashes grow and shed. Because every growth cycle is unique to you, we can't guarantee an exact lifespan for your lift.

Why does my lift look different over time?

Your lashes are constantly growing and shedding, which means the appearance of your lift naturally evolves week after week. As new lashes grow in straight and the lifted lashes shed, the overall look softens. This is completely normal and simply your growth cycle at work.

Can I use a lash growth serum with my lift?

We recommend caution here. Growth serums disrupt your natural lash growth cycle and dehydrate the lashes, which can affect both the longevity and the health of your lift.

Why can't I drink caffeine before my appointment?

Caffeine causes the eyes to flutter and water, which can let chemicals into your eyes and cause serious irritation. Please avoid caffeine 3 to 4 hours before your appointment.

What's the difference between lash extensions and a lash lift?

Extensions add length and fullness, like waking up with makeup on. A lash lift and tint curls and colors the lashes you already have. Both are beautiful; extensions offer more customization if you're replacing makeup, while a lift keeps things natural.

My previous lash lift kinked and twisted. Will that happen again?

Kinking and twisting usually come from wrong shaping or over-processing, which my training and expertise are designed to avoid. Aftercare plays a major role too: daily conditioning, preferably with a keratin treatment, keeps lashes nourished so they grow softly and your lift lasts longer.

I just had permanent makeup on my brows or eyes. Can I still get a lash lift?

Not yet. Your permanent makeup must be fully healed first, usually about 2 weeks post PMU.

Why are your prices higher than others in the area?

Your appointment time is dedicated entirely to you, with no interruptions, in a professional and relaxing atmosphere. I also continually invest in certifications from top lash educators worldwide, so you always receive the most current, highest-quality service. Every service is performed with premium, high-grade products sourced directly from Korea, formulated to protect the integrity of your lashes while delivering beautiful results. We specialize in lash health, and no damage is our promise.

What is Brow Lamination?

Brow Lamination reshapes the brow hairs through a perm process, creating a fluffier, fuller-looking brow. Brows must stay dry for 24 hours after. Price includes optional brow cleanup and tint. Not recommended for severely sparse hair or sensitive skin.

Why do I have to book an appointment online?

New clients book online because we require a card on file to reserve your service. For your protection, we never take credit card information over the phone.
